What is Nutritional Theraphy?

Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition science and the performing of a Functional Evaluation in order to make nutritional recommendations to balance body chemistry and achieve optimal wellness.  Nutritional Therapy works to identify any deficiencies or imbalances that may be keeping you from optimal health. By focusing on the foundations of health it works to improve the assimilation of nutrients you consume and, therefore, enables your body to heal and function in the way it was meant to.  As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner my role is to work with you as your health partner so you can reach your goals and feel your best.  Accountability is a powerful motivator and studies show that being accountable increases the success rates in health related goals.

What Nutritional Therapy is Not...

Nutritional Therapy respects each person's bio-individuality, and each plan is unique to your lifestyle, needs and goals. Nutritional Therapy is NOT a replacement for medical advice (Nutritional Therapists do not diagnose or treat disease). However a Nutritional Therapist will frequently work alonside other healthcare professionals involved in the client's care to support the foundations of overall health through dietary changes.
